The No Name Dip
Alright, so the other day I promised I’d give you the recipe for the dip I made for trivia night. According to Nick, this dip has “no name”, so naturally, I’ve decided to officially dub it The No Name Dip. Original, I know. š
This dip is ridiculously easy, budget-friendly, and only requires four ingredients. That’s right—just four. It’s perfect for game nights, potlucks, or whenever you want to impress people with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 16 oz sour cream
(In the photo, I used two 8 oz containers because the store didn’t have the 16 oz version of my favorite brand.) - Real bacon bits
Please, I’m begging you—make sure they’re real. I used the fake ones once and it was genuinely the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. - Shredded cheese
I usually go with cheddar jack, but honestly, you can use whatever shredded cheese you like. - 1 dry ranch dressing packet
They have flavored ones, but I recommend sticking with the original for that classic ranch goodness.
How To Make The No Name Dip
- In a medium bowl, mix the sour cream and the dry ranch packet together until fully combined.
- Stir in the bacon bits.
- Add the shredded cheese and mix everything together.
- Done!
That’s it. No cooking, no fancy steps. Just mix and serve.
I’ll admit—it kind of looks like throw-up (just being honest), but trust me—this dip is absolutely delicious. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked.
Serve it with: chips, crackers, veggie sticks, or even use it as a burger topping if you’re feeling adventurous.
Let me know if you try it out—and don’t forget to tell people it’s The No Name Dip (™ pending š).
